Two years ago, Forest's parents had been staying with us for nearly a week, anxiously waiting to meet their grand-daughter before they had to return home. My parent's were driving to Louisville to meet her as well. Talitha was born soon after her Grandma and Grandpa Holton arrived and one day before her Grandma and Grandpa Aalderink left for home.
Now that she is two, she is trying to keep up with her brother and sister and loves to take care of her "little" brother. She is our petite little girl--she only weighs 24 pounds when the her older siblings weighed that well before their first birthdays, and her younger brother weighs 23 pounds. She is the cutest two-year-old! She loves to sing, even if she doesn't get all the words right. Her favorite songs are "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," "Jesus Loves Me," and the alphabet song:
As you can see, we are still working on including all the letters in the song, but she loves to sing all the time. She really enjoys sharing and playing with her brothers and sister. Her favorite lunch is "p-butter n jewey" or peanut butter and jelly and she loves to have "skabetti" or spaghetti for dinner. Talitha is very passionate about many things, when she expresses a liking to something she often says "I love it" and she has the cutest excited face when she is told a treat is on it's way. She still really enjoys being our baby girl though, she can often be found in the morning cuddling up next to Forest, and she often asks to be up. She wants to be doing whatever Nathanael and Hannah are doing, even if she can't understand how they are playing.
We are excited to see how she will grow in the coming year and look forward to all the new things she will learn and do.
