Sledding fun

Last week we had another snow day! This time our friends went with us and the guys had a better sled. There was even a layer of ice on top of the snow-which made for an even more exciting ride. Our video of this day highlights the big hill with a bonus hill at the bottom. However on the other side of the little hill was a big puddle-that put quite a damper on the day, and a very wet boy decided he was done. His dad was ready for some not-so-wet and cold clothes too.

She's playing now!

Hannah has started to play! Sometimes she'll hold her fist out in front and study it before bringing it in for a gnaw. We can get her to hold a light toy and she'll pull it to her mouth for in for inspection. She's even begun to swipe at her carseat toy. She likes playing a smiling game--who can smile bigger-Daddy or Hannah? Like all babies, she enjoys her reflection-in her tummy mirror and in her swing. Oh, and she's grown too long for her bassinet so she's moved into her own room in her crib!

So, classes at the seminary started last week. Forest is taking three classes and Laura is in her one for the wives once a week.

Also last week Nathanael started to use the potty!! So far through timed trips he's managed to go on the potty several times, but is still very much in the beginning of learning when he needs to go. He never seems to need to and sometimes is too busy to go try.

Hannah does more than just eat, dirty a diaper, and sleep. She still doesn't really play with her toys yet, but we can get her to hold a toy for a while. Sometimes she will study her fist and try to gnaw on it. But she is still a passive 2-month-old. Last week at her doctor's appointment she weighed 14 pounds!! She has started to chat a little:
