Hannah is Three!!

Hannah had her third birthday yesterday. We can't help but think of how well she has grown since that first morning after she was born. That first morning and the first few days following her delivery, we were only trusting God to preserve her life and allow us to bring her home. He not only preserved her life, but spared her any lasting effects from being so sick after birth.
Hannah enjoyed a day at home playing with her new toys and then asked to go to Chick-Fil-A for dinner. Nathanael picked out a mixer for her, but it didn't work. She is so laid back that it didn't even bother her (though it kind of bothered her parents, so Laura and the kids went to exchange it for a new one). She has been enjoying "making" cookie dough and cakes with it. She also got a big dollhouse with a family. One of the neat things about the family dolls is that they have wedding rings just like Mommy and Daddy do. She has been using the dollhouse more for her new fairies though (of the Tinker Bell type). The big difference between this birthday adn the last one we celebrated in our house is the attitude of the gift receiver. Hannah is such a gracious girl (appropriately since her name means grace) that she spent the whole day sharing her new toys and inviting both her brother and sister to play with her. That doesn't mean there were no incidents of "She took it!" but her overall attitude was one of sharing and enjoying playing with her brother and sister.
