Now that he's been home several weeks, she likes him a lot. She always wants to know where he is, "Ees baby?" is a common question throughout the day. Talitha likes to try to bounce him in his bouncy seat, and give him hugs and kisses while he sits there. Talitha asks to have Josiah sit on her "wap" on the couch. She'll even wipe up his spit-up for him, though sometimes she's a bit more vigorous at it than he would prefer. Her favorite thing to do is sit next to Mom when Josiah is nursing, because that is when she gets to read books with Mom. She really likes that she sits next to him in the van too. Since he's been home with us, her mothering instincts have come out more. She already had enjoyed playing with babies, but now she takes care of them with more purpose. Talitha likes to help her babies burp, tells Laura when they are "wet" and even likes to carry them around like Laura carries Josiah--in a sling.

Talitha still really prefers her Mom and Dad, so to reaquaint with Grandma and Grandpa before spending an entire day with them was good for her. She really missed her mom and dad though when they had to spend all day meeting Josiah. When she did get to come up to the hospital to see them, all she really cared about was Mom and Dad. She wasn't too sure what to think about the tiny little face sitting on Mom's lap. When it was her turn to hold him and meet him, she was excited to see he had all the same parts she did:
